The Building Division provides a full range of services to the development community and the Citizens of Seminole. The Services include: issuance of permits, review of plans, field inspection, and site plan review of projects. The Building Division reviews and inspects all jobs requiring a permit. The City has a team of well qualified personnel. Some plan reviews, and all fire plan reviews, are handled in-house.

The City of Seminole will be launching a New Permit Management software for building permitting and inspection services. Starting July 22, the city will be transitioning to a new and more robust permit management software. This upgrade aims to streamline the permit application process, enhance user experience, and improve overall efficiency in managing permits. The Building Department will ensure a smooth and effective transition from EnerGov to Citizenserve, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency in the permit management process.
