A ll of our mechanics are Master ASE certified. Fleet maintenance is set up for fire apparatus repairs as well as servicing all the City's equipment. This facility has the ability to accomplish special needs such as body repair, welding, fabrication, and major fire pump repair. The combined knowledge of the staff allows the facility to provide preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs, not only for our City but also to outside customers. The goals of the facility are to perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.

The maintenance building is 8,000 square feet with one 50,000-pound truck lift and one 8,000-pound auto lift. An in-house computer system has been in place for over 10 years and is the leader in this field. |

To complement our system we have a laptop capability to trouble shoot a vast number of electrical and engine systems. |

We have a full welding shop with tig, mig, plasma torch, sheer and brake. The Building and Supplies section also comes under the Fleet Maintenance Section. The employee in this position takes care of all the fire department supplies, janitorial and light building repairs. |
