Human Resources: This section is responsible for the utilization of the City's human resources. Activities include: Maintenance of personnel files; formulation and implementation of practices and policies; administers, explains and updates a variety of city benefits; ensures compliance with all local, state and federal labor and employment laws and actively discourages discrimination at all levels.

Recreation Leader II:
The City of Seminole is seeking a responsible, professional individual to perform a variety of duties for the city's active/passive recreational leisure facilities. The duties include organizing, promoting, and supervising a variety of programs (senior adult, senior adult special events, and summer specialty camps). This is a full-time position working Monday thru Friday daytime hours with some evenings, and weekends.  Requirements:   Associate of Arts or Associate of Science Degree from an accredited college with one year of employment experience in Parks and Recreation, or closely related field; valid Florida driver's license; Ability to obtain a Class C CDL driver's license within 6 (six) months of employment. Possession of valid CPR/First Aid certifications. Starting salary is $13.66/hour. The salary range is $13.66 to $19.81/hour. This position has a competitive benefit package. A background investigation and a drug screen will be conducted on the successful candidate. City Inspector: The City of Seminole is seeking a full-time Building Inspector. Duties include enforcement of local and state codes, ordinances, regulations, statutes; perform plan reviews; perform building inspections for safety, structural, electrical, gas, mechanical, plumbing, municipal, and construction. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma/equivalent, valid Florida driver’s license, state licensed Building Code Inspector, certified in one & two family dwelling OR certified in building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing preferred. Five (5) years employment experience in comparable position. The selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening. Starting salary: depending upon qualifications (D.O.Q.). Salary range: $41,857.50/year to $60,693.36/year.
