Human Resources is accepting applications for the following positions:

MAINTENANCE I: The City of Seminole is seeking a self-motivated individual to perform roadway median, and grounds maintenance duties in the Public Works DepartmentThis is a temporary full-time position for 21 weeks. The tentative hire date is mid-April 2012. (This is not a building maintenance position.) The work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The starting salary is $11.93 per hour. The salary range is $11.93 per hour to $17.30 per hour. This position requires a valid Florida driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) to three (3) years experience/vocational preparation. A background investigation and drug screen will be performed. To apply: complete a city employment application. Camp Counselor: The successful candidate will lead and coordinate groups in the city’s summer camp program. The work dates are: 05/21/12 to 08/20/12. The work hours are between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with varying daily schedules. This position requires a high school diploma/ equivalent, and a Florida driver’s license. CPR & First Aid training provided. Salary range: $9.48 to $9.99 hour. The position is a temporary full-time position, background investigation and drug screen conducted.
