The Administration Department provides overall direction and supervision for the Finance, Recreation, and the Library Divisions. Finance: The Finance Section, under the direction of the Department of Administration, is charged with the administration of the financial affairs of the city, such as Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. Finance is also responsible for the identification and development of fiscal policies, and practices to enhance the public benefit.
Human Resources: This section is responsible for the utilization of the City's human resources. Activities include: Maintenance of personnel files; formulation and implementation of practices and policies; administers, explains and updates a variety of city benefits; ensures compliance with all local, state and federal labor and employment laws and actively discourages discrimination at all levels.
MIS: This section is responsible for managing the management information system for the City. Activities include the purchase and upkeep of equipment along with the maintenance of the city networks, e-mail, and web pages.
