LOCAL BUSINESS TAX RECEIPT DIVISION
City Ordinance Article IV, Section 42
Unless exempted by state law, it shall be unlawful for any person to either directly or indirectly conduct any business without first having obtained or registered a current local business tax receipt as required by this article.
If your business is located within the City Limits of Seminole, you are required to obtain a Local Business Tax Receipt. To verify if your business is located within the City Limits of Seminole, go to the Pinellas County Property Appraisers website at

When transferring a business license, you must bring in the current Local Tax Receipt, and fill out the application for a transfer.
